I absolutely loved this – an intriguing story, gorgeous artwork and very clever cinematography!

The text and the images worked together so well, and the action sequences were fantastic!!  The characters fitted into the background art very nicely, and the panning was very clever - in fact the whole game had a very cinematic feel.

I also really liked all the character designs, especially the armour which was beautifully detailed. Oh and I thought the roses background was very clever as it changed as the game progressed!!

It's exciting to hear you’re intending to expand this a bit, but it’s still a jewel in its current form - I enjoyed it very much indeed. 🌹

Absolutely gorgeous <3 I adore the style and the way everything's put together! The story certainly draws me in and makes me want to know more too.

But yeah, those visuals are a real treat for the eyes. There's so much attention to detail and it all comes together so polished :3

I'm really intrigued to see what the choices are that you plan on adding at some point :o

I absolutely agree with you, the same thoughts crossed my mind.

This game already looked great in the making, and it all came together so well! The story was short but effective, and I appreciated the questions it left Lavinia with.

The star of the show here is, of course, your art! The art direction was very tasteful. The range of sprite poses and usage, along with the interactive comic style and panning background, made for a really immersive setting. I especially enjoy the transition between settings using the background--from the forest to the cave entrance to the cave itself, it worked very smoothly and was a really smart choice!

Amazing work, congratulations on this spooktober success! :)

Oh, the visual presentation of this one is so cool! I love all the pans and effects used on the artwork (particularly the scrolling background, and the rose border behind it), and the usage of speech bubbles instead of a plain textbox is very aesthetically appealing too.

This VN looks gorgeous; it was a pleasure to read!
