This background asset pack was created for Make Visual Novel Assets! Jam, but it can also be used for other creative projects. 

The pack was made to be a setting for a gloomy old mansion, where sunlight can't reach all its dark, forgotten nooks. It's perfectly suited for melancholy romances and Victorian-vibes horror. 🦇💜

All the assets were made with free-to-use photos from stock image sites, which were then edited in Clip Studio Paint and Gimp using G'Mic Qt filters and elbow grease. No AI was used to make these assets. See the "How to make more background assets" pdf for more info.

This asset pack is licensed CC BY 4.0. You are free to modify the assets and use them in your projects, even commercial ones, as long as you give credit (linking back to this asset pack in your game/product would be great!). 

However, you are not allowed to distribute the asset pack as is (like in another asset pack).
